Marrickville Town Hall - 303 Marrickville Rd

ALL artists, crafters, collectors, painters, mixed media artists, collectors, bookmakers, scrapbookers, doll makers, sewers, toy makers, steam punk artists, quilters, dyers, jewellers, assemblage artists, hoarders, wood turners, journalers, found object hoarders, wooden & timber artists, linen & haberdashery collectors, knitters, sculptors, felters, screen printers, weavers, beaders, bike & toy repairers, crocheters, upholsterers, wire workers, mechanics, radio collectors … if you have too much stash, this market is for you.

Any and all creative things that still have life in them are what this market is about! Re-cycling and up-cycling your stash that a like-minded artist or crafter can use creatively.

Any small furniture related to your studio or work space, containers you store materials in, art and craft books and magazines are all ok!

(Table measures 210 x 75 cms)

To express your interest please reply to this email (stashandtreasure@gmail.com) and we'll send you application form with all the details you need. Applications close 1 February 2013.

What are you up to after the S&T dust settles ...

Gadzooks two weeks has past and am finally emerging from the fog ...
that enveloped me after the stupendous S&T market.
Glorious photo's by Mahani De Borello HERE.

Uncovering forgotten stash and treasure prior to the market ...
was similar to an archaelogical dig.

I was tantalised after years away from ...

Years ago I created this tote from a velvet top ...
embellished with tape measures,
necktie labels,
antique buttons ,
assorted haberdashery & sewing notions.

Another example is a purple tote I created as a gift ...
I incorporated
lace dying, embroidery, embellishing in CQ style.

The cold weather has me snuggled up with needle threaded ...
imagination running wild ...
would love to see what have you been up to since the dust settled?
